Welcome to Eidfjord Gjestgiveri
You will find us in the middle of Øvre Eidfjord, a small village at the foot of the Hardangervidda, 6 kilometres from the larger village of Eidfjord in Hordaland county and 150 kilometres east of Bergen. Eidfjord is an ideal starting point for short or long trips on the Hardangervidda.
In 2002 we moved from the Netherlands and bought Eidfjord Gjestgiveri. The main house, along with the six camping huts, was completely renovated during 2003 and 2004. Today there are four double rooms and one single room in the main house. In addition, we have the six camping huts, each with two sleeping places. We offer a comfortable standard of accommodation at reasonable prices in a cosy guest house environment.
Furthermore, since the summer of 2007 we heartily welcome you to our pancake restaurant.
